Minoan tomb in Krousonas

An untouchable, well-preserved Minoan tomb, dating to about 1300 BC, came to the surface during the construction of the new Gazi-Krousonas road. According to the findings of the 13^th Classical and Prehistoric Antiquities Tax Office, it is a group tomb accompanied by rich offerings. Among the findings, a large number of painted pottery objects, jewellery, bronze objects and weapons stands out.
