This drink, in the past, was served everywhere, even in local cafes. Usually, cafe owners bought cinnamon from local producers, diluted it with hot water and served it in glass cups. The dark red colour, the strong cinnamon smell and the sweet - slightly spicy - taste were the characteristics of this hot, basically, winter drink. Ready-made cinnamon is now found on the market. You can also enjoy it in the summer, with plenty of ice cubes as a soft drink or enrich other drinks or tea as well as various sweets and desserts.
