Entitled “White Ships, Our Dreams…”, the Malevizi Municipal Choir opens this year’s summer musical journey, presenting a series of concerts dedicated to the sea, journeys, nostalgia, foreignness, hope and love.
Through beloved songs created by great Greek composers, the audience will travel to ports, ships and seas, to stories of people who left, returned, dreamed and loved. It will be a musical program full of images, memories and emotions, which highlights the timeless relationship and connection of Greek songs with the sea and the Greek soul.
The concerts will be held with free admission, according to the following program:
Sunday, July 19th – Kitharida
Tuesday, July 21st – Agia Pelagia
Saturday, July 25th – Loutraki
Tuesday, July 28th – Gazi
Tuesday, August 4th – Kalesa
The artistic director of the Municipal Choir is Eva Koutsoyiannakis Pitsikakis, while the choir will be accompanied by:
Irini Theophanous – piano
Aris Koutentakis – guitar
Babis Kakepakis – lyra
The Municipality of Malevizi invites residents and visitors to attend the concerts and share a special musical journey, full of melodies, memories and beloved songs that have marked generations of Greeks.
