The Heraklion Health Centre operates from 07:00 to 15:00 from Monday to Friday, offering primary health care services to both citizens and visitors of the wider area. Uninsured citizens are also served. The benefits are free, provided an AMKA number is available.

Allergology, General Medicine, Dermatology, Bronchial Asthma, Smoking Cessation, Administration of Injectable Medicines, Cardiology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Dentistry, Orthopedics, Urology and Ophthalmology, while there is also a Mother & Child Protection Station, as well as a Physiotherapy Clinic.
