The Damasta Cultural Association in co-organisation with the Region of Crete, the Municipality of Malevizi, the Local Council of Damasta, the Damasta Holocaust Victims Union, the Damasta Sports Club and the Parish of Agios Georgios Damasta, organises in Damasta, for the 41st consecutive year, during the period between 8th and 21st August 2023 series of Cultural events, all Admission Free, as a tribute to the memory of the 30 Damastians who were executed during the Nazi occupation.
Throughout the events, at the village's School, there will be a permanent exhibition of photographs from the archive material of the Association on the subject of "History, places and Human Activity in Damasta", with free entry for the public.
