Diver’s Club Crete

For all of you who are drawn to the deep blue colour of the sea but have never attempted a close encounter with the undersea magic, now is your chance.

Diver's Club Crete is a company with extensive experience in scuba diving training and recreational diving. They have established a main dive centre in Agia Pelagia and a dive shop/booking office in Hersonissos to better serve divers.

Since 1995, Diver's Club Crete has been offering all levels of PADI training as well as NITROX training, beach and boat diving at many different dive sites in northern Crete.

They also offer diving programmes for beginners, those who have never dived before, and boat trips for snorkelling or fun.

Diver's Club Crete has selected dive sites ideal for both experienced and novice divers for training as well as for entertainment. Divers are transported to the dive sites with the company's boats designed to offer comfort and safety. With their largest boat, with a capacity of 16 people, they plan full-day diving trips along northern Crete and the island of Dia.

The Diver's Club Crete diving centre is equipped with new diving equipment from AQUALUNG. Their long experience (since 1995) in training scuba divers and the sale of diving equipment (since 1982) guarantees their customers a high level of education, safety and entertainment.

Their multilingual staff (English, German, French, Russian, Polish, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Greek) will help you before, during and after your dive.

Special diving packages, with or without accommodation, are offered during the summer season, and special prices are also provided for families and organised groups of more than six divers.

Programmes

• The “Discover Scuba Diving” programme will only take three hours of your time. It includes a 30-minute instruction period in the fundamentals of diving and using the required essential equipment. This is followed by a dive in a pool or confined water where divers practice some basic diving skills. The programme then includes an open sea dive to a maximum depth of 10 metres. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme enables you to experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI instructor in ideal conditions. The Discover Scuba Diving experience is a great way to start your PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification.

• “Discover Scuba Diving Plus” is the ideal choice if you want to enjoy a day full of diving. This programme is the same as “Discover Scuba Diving” but also allows you to do one more dive at a low price. The second dive can be done from the shore or a boat at a maximum depth of 12 metres.

• The Bubblemaker programme is an activity that allows children to experience the underwater world. Under close supervision, participants swim in shallow water, using special diving equipment for children. The PADI Bubblemaker programme is for boys and girls aged eight and up. It's fun, easy and safe. The PADI Bubblemaker programme allows youngsters to join the family fun of diving or even start a trend! Children should know how to swim but don't need to be super swimmers since the maximum depth is only 2-4 metres.
