The SIROCCO tavern on the beautiful beach of Lygaria, Heraklion, opened its doors for the first time in 1981 as one of the family taverns of the area and since then until today it has been operating continuously offering exquisite food made from pure ingredients and selected raw materials based on the orchards of the owners’ family.

The many years of operation and existence of SIROCCO in the field of catering have resulted in stable cooperation with the fishermen of the area, the suppliers and the butchers of the prefecture resulting in the continuous supply of fresh fish, first-quality meat and also vegetables (when the production of vegetables taken from their own orchard is not enough) for the preparation of excellent dishes. SIROCCO will give you precisely what you need whether you are on holiday or not. A traditional and relaxing environment ideal for ouzo or raki with delicious dishes of fresh fish and seafood but also cooked dishes that smell of freshness, deliciousness and profound knowledge and respect for their customers.
