Paleokastro beach
The beach of Paleokastro is located in the homonymous settlement, at a distance of 7 km from Gazi. The beach is covered with white pebbles.
Due to its geographical location, the beach is protected from the northern winds. It is an organised beach with sunbeds, umbrellas and showers. Quite close to the beach, the visitor can enjoy fresh fish in the taverns, while there is a parking space facility for the visitors’ vehicles.
To the right of the beach, a very high rock dominates the area. A Venetian castle was built there, while a narrow cave stands out, which, according to reports, was an escape route from the castle.
