10th Orange Festival at Fodele

On Sunday, April 27, Fodele puts on its festive attire and welcomes young and old to the 10th Orange Festival, an institution that has become a point of reference for the local community.
The Orange Festival is a celebration of flavours, aromas and colours, dedicated to the orange, the product that is a trademark of Fodele.
The organisation of the event is a collaboration between the Fodele Domenikos Theotokopoulos Cultural Association and the Fodele Local Community, with the support of the Municipality of Malevizi. The entire village contributes to the preparation and success of the festival.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try unique, handmade creations made with oranges, including spoon sweets, traditional pastries, cakes, tarts, liqueurs, and drinks. At the same time, crafts, local products, and constructions inspired by the orange groves of Fodele will be exhibited, highlighting the region's creativity and cultural wealth.
The 10th Orange Festival will start at 12:00 p.m. (noon), and the program includes musical and dance performances, as well as activities for children, in a unique natural setting next to the river in Fodele's central square.
