Church of Agios Antonios
The church of Agios Antonios is located on the edge of the village of Keramoutsi, which is 3.5 km from Tylissos and 15 km from Heraklion and is an archaeological gem of the area.
In 1800, part of the temple that was later rebuilt was destroyed. It is a small, one-room temple, the upper part of which has been restored with cement. The surviving lower part has frescoes from the Venetian rule (1434 -1435), which, unfortunately, are preserved in very poor condition. Some representations with individual forms are difficult to distinguish, as well as the "Vision of St. Peter of Alexandria", which refers to the sect of Areios.
