Church of Agios Georgios
The chapel of Agios Georgios is located in Sergiana, in Tylissos, and it is built in lush vegetation. The church was part of the historic Monastery of Halepa, which during the Turkish occupation had a large fortune in the broader area of Tylissos. The small church celebrates on November 3rd, where St. George’s relics (Methistis) gathering is celebrated.
With its rare beauty, the chapel is a pole of attraction for many believers, mainly because of its history that says that St. George came alive in front of a gardener many years ago.
