The small church of Agios Dimitrios is located before the Rodia Fishing Shelter.
It is a stone temple dedicated to Saint Demetrius, who martyred during the reign of Diocletian when the harshest persecution of Christians took place in the Roman Empire.
The architectural harmony of the temple is complemented by the symmetrical roof together with the beautiful wooden details. In the open-air iconostasis with the low bell tower, the visitor can worship the small icons of the Saint.
